Sweet Bread in Beaverton, OR
Bread is the heart of any bakery, and La Imperial Beaverton honors traditional recipes passed down through generations. Fill a tray with a rainbow of pan dulce – fluffy conchas topped with sweet shells, fruit-filled cuernos, sugar-glazed elotes, empanadas stuffed with pineapple or pumpkin, and many more. Each piece is baked fresh daily for maximum flavor and softness. We also carry Guatemalan and Mexican specialty breads. You’ll find trays filled with fun-shaped breads glazed with sugar or filled with fruit-flavored jelly mixes. Try our Mexican cornbread made with sweetened condensed milk for a moist, rich crumb. Experience Festival Bread, also known as pan de feria, a pecan-infused delight baked every Tuesday morning. For savory options, pick up teleras or bolillos – these subtle delights are popularly used for tortas. The cema poblana is another favorite, originally from Puebla, Mexico and perfect for sandwiches or catering.
Our breads are made with high-quality flour, yeast, butter and natural flavorings. We proof them slowly to develop flavor and bake them in batches throughout the day. You can enjoy a warm concha with morning coffee or pick up a dozen bolillos for family dinner. We also offer artisan loaves, including rustic sourdough, brioche, sandwich loaves and seasonal specialties like pumpkin bread in autumn. As a neighborhood bakery, we understand the importance of accessibility and variety.
Whether you’re from Beaverton, Hillsboro, Forest Grove or Portland, you can taste authentic Latin American bread without traveling far. We supply local restaurants, cafes and food trucks and can fulfill wholesale orders. Stop by to create your own bread assortment and discover new favorites.

I know my way around such cakes. I have been served home made Tres Leches and cakes from decent bakeries. It should be moist but airy. But this cake was way DRY for a Tres Leches standard. It felt like a simple sponge cake which was not soaked in the evaporated+condensed milk with cream.
I paid a premium price (50$ for an 8 inch cake) . But I got the quality of a cheap grocery store cake.
